Stellar Orthodontics is a Delaware practice with four offices, three orthodontists (including a board-certified specialist), and one promise: every patient leaves with a smile they're confident about. We are a member of the Freedom Dental Health System.

Who we treat
Stellar Orthodontics provides care for children, teens, and adults across a range of treatment needs. Some patients are preparing for early intervention starting around age 7, some are ready for teen braces or Invisalign Teen, and others are adults finally addressing long-standing alignment concerns.

Orthodontist
Dr. Robert Park
Dr. Robert Park was born and raised in the Chicago area. He attended the prestigious boarding school Choate Rosemary Hall and then Brown University, where he graduated in Neuroscience (and was a co-captain of the Squash Team and Academic All-Ivy). He then received his Dental Medicine Doctorate at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a Master's in Orthodontics at Case Western Reserve University.
His research on dental education and orthodontic materials has been published in dental journals, and he gives lectures to local dentists on orthodontics. Dr. Park became an orthodontist because he loves being able to change lives. He believes in providing the highest quality care with the best service.

Dr. Can Nguyen
Dr. Can Nguyen is a dedicated, board-certified orthodontist at Stellar Orthodontics in Delaware. With a passion for creating beautiful, healthy smiles, Dr. Nguyen brings expertise, precision, and compassionate care to every patient he treats across our Delaware locations.
Education & Training
Dr. Nguyen received his dental and orthodontic training at respected institutions, completing the rigorous post-doctoral residency required to achieve board certification in orthodontics. He is committed to ongoing continuing education to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign, digital treatment planning, and self-ligating bracket systems.

Dr. Nguyen specializes in comprehensive orthodontic treatment for patients of all ages, from early orthodontic evaluations for children to Invisalign for adults seeking a smile transformation. Dr. Nguyen is known for his attention to detail, gentle chair-side manner, and genuine commitment to each patient's confidence and wellbeing.

Dr. Sonal Dave
Dr. Sonal Dave is an outstanding orthodontist dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and enhancing facial beauty. She practices with compassion and sensitivity to each patient's needs. She truly enjoys being able to make a positive impact on patients' lives and looks forward to building relationships with her patients and their families during their orthodontic journey. Dr. Dave had braces as a teenager and had an amazing, life-changing experience - her goal is to recreate that experience for each of her patients.
Education & Training
Dr. Dave's hard work and extensive educational background have provided her with specialized knowledge and advanced training to deliver the best services and results to her patients. She began her education at Unionville High School in our neighboring town Kennett Square, PA. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Life Science and a minor in Religious Studies from Penn State University, along with several honors and awards. After college, Dr. Dave worked and traveled on a backpacking trip to Southeast Asia and Japan.
Upon her return, she pursued her dental degree from the prestigious Ivy League school, the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated summa cum laude. During her studies there, she was also able to fulfill her love of travel - Dr. Dave was granted an externship to Fiji, where she worked as a dentist treating an underserved population. After graduation, she completed a general practice residency program at Christiana Care Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Dave had the privilege of returning to the University of Pennsylvania for her post-doctoral specialized orthodontic training.

Dr. Dave understands the importance of continually learning and keeping current in the field of orthodontics. She strives to learn about the most modern advances and techniques by attending continuing education classes and conferences regularly.

Outside the Office
Dr. Dave is a native to the area and couldn't be happier to currently reside in Kennett Square, PA. She comes from a very close-knit and extensive family that mostly resides in the neighboring towns as well. She is married to her best friend, Jason Walter, and together they have four beautiful children. When she is not spending time with her family and friends, she loves being outdoors - hiking, walking, and working out. And as you already know, one of her true passions is traveling, learning, and experiencing different cultures.
